A variety of recreational opportunities is available in the immediate Brookville area. The Borough maintains four major parks within the community. Brookville Memorial park contains a playground, basketball courts, athletic fields, and picnic areas.  The picnic pavilions must be reserved at the borough office. At Longview park are a basketball court, a playground, and a picnic shelter; and Northside park contains a passive park area with lighted walkways as well as a baseball and softball playing field.

The Dr. Walter Dick Memorial Park was destroyed in the 7/19/96 flood. However, the park has been restored to its former beauty. It contains a swimming area, picnic facilities and also fishing.
